Romania Volunteer Business Internships and Work Experience Placements

Our Business Projects in Romania will see you working on an internship placement with a Romanian company in one of the fastest growing economies in the EU.
Whether you are on a gap year looking to be accepted onto a university business course or aiming to break into a fast-paced business sector, a Business project in Romania offers unique work experience that will help you to stand out from the crowd.
There are a broad range of business placements available, so we will ask about your preferences and interests and will match you to a specific company.
Business Work Experience Opportunities with Projects Abroad in Romania
As one of the newest members in the EU, Romania is full of both well established and brand new enterprises that offer a wide variety of business opportunities.
Depending on your interest and experience, Projects Abroad business interns can either help develop a start-up enterprise or gain experience in a medium-sized business.
The choices are varied, from a property company, an advertising agency or a software development company to helping set up a restaurant (from the concept up) or organising the marketing department of a well-established NGO. With a wide range of business possibilities you will have the change to learn and contribute a great deal.
Working on a Business Internship Placement in Romania
As a volunteer on one of our business placements, you can provide effective and constructive help. Throughout the placement, volunteers are expected to be punctual, professional and hard-working. You will be required to work an average of 35 hours per week, usually Monday to Friday.
On your first day at work, you will be assigned a supervisor who will be able to advise and support you throughout your placement and there will also be Projects Abroad staff on hand. The minimum duration for the project is one month.
The work you do will depend on the particular placement, but be prepared to be challenged! You will get involved with the day-to-day activities of the company you join, this may involve liaising with clients, planning business strategies, working with business support teams, giving presentations, researching and developing projects or attending meetings.
Whichever voluntary placement you are working on in the Romanian business world your input will be greatly encouraged. Take the opportunity to make your own suggestions, explain how things work back home and learn some of the language! Your adaptability and willingness to learn will be greatly appreciated.
