Volunteer on Conservation & Environment Projects Overseas
The conservation of rare species of plant and animal life, and the protection of the environment in which we live are increasingly important considerations in today's world. The sun never sets on Projects Abroad's efforts in these vital areas.
Conservation & Environment volunteers work across the globe on a huge variety of different projects - from the National Parks of South Africa to the beaches of Mexico; from the coral reefs of Thailand and Cambodia to the rainforests of Peru.
Volunteering on a Conservation & Environment Project Overseas
You can volunteer on any of our Conservation & Environment Projects at any phase in your life. No matter whether you are on a gap year from education, a career break or an extended holiday, there is important work for you to be involved in and you will make an important contribution. You do not need any previous conservation experience and all volunteers will receive relevant training in all the work involved.
Volunteers interested in more general work with animals may also like to check out our Animal Care projects in Argentina, Mexico, Romania and South Africa.
Volunteering on a Environmental project as a qualified biologist or scientist
There is also scope to volunteer as a professional and put your skills to use. Projects Abroad has a skilled and qualified arm called Projects Abroad PRO. Our main focus is to match your skills with our partner organisation’s needs. Please visit our specialist website for professionals to find out more.
