Transition year trips

Happy volunteers in Thailand

Transition year is a valuable time for any student, giving them the chance to broaden their horizons and explore many different areas before getting back to the books for the Leaving Cert cycle. When spent wisely, it can be a time of great development and learning. If you volunteer with us, you can choose from a wide range of volunteer or work experience projects with something to suit everyone and flexible dates & durations.

Whether you are a group of fourth year classmates or a TY coordinator, a group volunteer project is a great opportunity for those looking to spend some worthwhile time abroad. We arrange everything from your accommodation to weekend travel. Your group will receive unrivalled staff support before, during and after your tailor-made trip as well as accommodation, food, insurance and guidance. See www.projects-abroad.ie/_downloads/projects/tailor-made-group-trips/projects/sample-itinerary.pdf for a sample itinerary for a 2 week community work project in Ghana.
