Environmental outreach
Your first week will focus on environmental learning and outreach. Support local efforts to clean up lakes and canals, engage in tree-planting initiatives, and collaborate with charity initiatives that promote sustainable recycling practices within the community.
Teaching and community Â
The focus will shift to education and community development during your second week. You’ll learn about local livelihoods by helping at a traditional family-owned rice or vegetable farm and visiting small businesses.
You’ll also work alongside local educators and community staff in a classroom setting to support children’s development. You’ll build practical skills in communication, teamwork, and classroom leadership by leading activities that encourage creativity, promote hygiene and healthy habits, and raise awareness of environmental issues through hands-on learning resources.
Cultural immersionÂ
Experience authentic Vietnamese culture by discovering the country’s rich history and breathtaking landscapes. You’ll engage with local traditions, from language lessons and traditional water puppet shows to craft workshops and cooking classes. Your journey includes exploring the natural beauty of Ha Long Bay on an overnight cruise and discovering the scenic valley of Mai Chau, where you will experience the unique traditions of the ‘Thai’ ethnic minority communities and explore local markets.
