Work alongside community activist Binti Mwangaza and the Kenya Red Cross to expand access to education, gaining a deep understanding of the challenges young women face in rural areas and the inspiring solutions breaking down reproductive health taboos.
Next, head to the Soysambu Conservancy to contribute to essential biodiversity protection. You’ll track and monitor Nubian Giraffes, Colobus Monkeys, and the local lion population on game drives; work alongside rangers on anti-poaching desnaring initiatives; and restore degraded habitats. You will also build eco-stoves for local families, seeing firsthand how balancing community development reduces pressure on vulnerable wildlife.
Maasai traditions and cultural exchange
Immerse yourself in Kenyan life through powerful cultural connections. Spend an unforgettable day with the nomadic Maasai, stepping into their daily life by helping herd livestock, fetch water, and build traditional bomas.
