Coaching Sports in Eastern Europe
Volunteers with a passion for sports and who enjoy working with children and teenagers are welcome to join one of our Sports projects in Eastern Europe. We work in schools, private sports centres and youth clubs, and there are a number of different Sports options to choose from. You have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of disadvantaged children, and motivate the next generation of sporting talent.
Sports Volunteering in Eastern Europe - What Is It Like?
Volunteers can teach physical education at a local school, which will involve a variety of sports such as football, volleyball and athletics. You can also select a football-specific project, where you will coach children at a local football club or youth centre.
Volunteer Sports placements are an excellent way to develop personal leadership skills, improve your own abilities and pass on your love for sport to children. They will also benefit from improved teamwork skills and the associated positive effects of regular physical activity.
You don’t need any prior experience to join one of our Sports programmes. Our volunteers are from all walks of life, from university students to those on a gap year or career break. All we require is dedication and enthusiasm!
