Family volunteer holidays abroad
Most family holidays are about escaping. We believe the best ones are about engaging.
At Projects Abroad, we take your family beyond the familiar resort and into a world of shared purpose. Working alongside local communities, you’ll tackle real-world challenges that build resilience in your children and create bonds that traditional travel simply cannot match.
You’ll also fully immerse in a new culture, teaching you and your children more about the world than a classroom or travel book ever could. The best bit? We’re always on hand to support you from start to finish.
Find a project of ours you like or get in touch now to discuss your options!
Shared purpose, lasting growth
Shared screens don’t build character; shared experiences do. We provide the structure for your family to step out of your comfort zones safely and return with a broader perspective.
Global perspective for the next generation: Help your children understand their place in the world by living in a brand new culture and contributing to long-term, sustainable initiatives.
Bonding through action: Move beyond the “resort bubble.” Whether you’re working on conservation or community support, you’ll collaborate as a team in ways that daily life rarely allows.
Take part in experiential learning: Encourage your children to learn by doing. Teach them how to adapt to different environments, learn from people they meet, and grow from what they observe or participate in.
