Our voluntary projects are based in over 30 developing countries. With 700 trained staff, over 215 projects and 10,000 volunteers per year, we are one of the world’s leading international volunteer organisations.

We have hundreds of overseas volunteer programmes. You can care for children in a care centre, teach English to local students, protect the environment on a Conservation project, and more. Whatever you choose to do, your time overseas will be spent in a way that benefits the global population and allows you to explore a new and exciting country.

Who can volunteer overseas?

Our overseas community is made up of volunteers of all different ages, experience levels, and countries. Our placements are open to anyone 16 or older, for school/college students, those taking a gap year, career breakers, university students as well as qualified professionals.

Whether you have two weeks or a year, Projects Abroad is perfect for anyone who wants to travel overseas and make the world a better place at the same time.
